By Susan Crawford. Image size 10'' x 10'' (24 x 24 cms).

This painting of Susan Crawford depicts legendary jockey Lester Piggott in the colours of the late Lord Howard de Walden, for whom he rode 39 winners. Lord Howard de Walden was a good friend and patron and this subject was painted by the artist in his memory. The original painting was auctioned in November 2000 to raise money for the Sir Peter O’Sullevan Charitable Trust. This print is being published in a strictly limited edition of 1500, signed by the artist and by the great jockey himself, and a substantial proportion of the proceeds will be contributed to the Sir Peter O'Sullevan Charitable Trust. This limited edition is published in exactly the same size as the original painting, which sold for almost £13,000.

This Limited Edition Print has been printed with lightfast inks on acid-free, matt coated, high grade board from elemental chlorine-free pulps sourced from environmentally-conscious paper suppliers.
