Muirfield (18th Hole)
A Limited Edition fine art print by Peter Munro. Image size 19'' x 16'' (61 x 41 cms).

Muirfield is the home of the world's oldest golf club, The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers, which is a descendant of the Gentlemen Golfers who played at Leith links in the fifteenth century. The current course was originally marked out by 'Old' Tom Morris in the 1890s and covers just over 6600 yards from the medal tees. It is a par 70, which loops cleverly to ensure that golfers will not have to play several successive holes into or against the wind. The eighteenth hole, like every other hole on the course, is unnamed and is a challenging and lengthy par 4. Muirfield has already hosted fourteen Open Championships and the course will next host the Open in 2002.

This Limited Edition Print has been signed and numbered by the artist, printed with lightfast inks on acid-free, matt coated, high grade board from elemental chlorine-free pulps sourced from environmentally-conscious paper suppliers.
